Phoenix
offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, biking,
kayaking, and tubing down the Lower Salt River. The city's climate is ideal for
outdoor activities, as it doesn't have harsh winters or wet springs, making
outdoor activities suitable during the months when Americans are cooped up
indoors. In the summer, Phoenix residents tend to stay indoors due to the
oppressive heat. For those who recently moved to Phoenix, the Camelback
Mountain trail is a great option for stretching legs. The 2.5-mile hike up to
the summit offers breathtaking views of the city below despite the steep
elevation gain. Phoenix is a beautiful place.
